Use

Blade is mounted on the outside of a knife sheath or another flat surface where you want a sharpener easily accessible.

The self-adhesive backing makes installation simple. When the knife starts to feel dull, the edge can be quickly honed against the diamond surface to restore sharpness.

If the knife sheath is round or lacks a flat surface, the sharpener can be carefully shaped over a pipe or another rounded object before installation. This allows it to follow the sheath more closely and attach securely.

The sharpener can also be cut to the desired shape with regular scissors if needed to fit a specific knife sheath.
