Skate – Diamond Sharpener for Nordic Skates

Skate is used for sharpening and maintaining Nordic skates.

The sharpener is mounted in a skate holder where the skates are held parallel. The diamond surface is moved along the blades, sharpening the edge at 90° to the blade, which is standard for Nordic skates.

The double-sided diamond surface allows you to work with two different grits. The coarser side is used to restore sharpness, while the finer side is used to smooth and refine the edge.

For best control and results, the sharpener should be used with a skate holder. A simple holder can also be built using, for example, threaded rod and nuts (M8).

Yes. A simple holder can be built using threaded rod and nuts, for example M8.

Why two grits?

300 grit is used to restore sharpness, while 600 grit is used for finer honing and a better edge finish.
